The Chinese Chang’e-5 probe loaded the lunar soil samples onto the module

Later, the orbital module and the module that will return to Earth will be disconnected from the take-off module and will wait for a good opportunity to return to Earth, after which they will separate. The orbital module will burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere, and the sample module will land.

The Chanye-5 device was launched on November 24. On December 1, he landed on the visible side of the moon. For two days he collected lunar soil, after which he was placed in a special compartment of the module for takeoff. About 2 kg of regolith should be delivered to Earth. Return to Earth is expected on December 16 or 17.
