Sci-Fi is a genre where the imagination of filmmakers is practically unlimited, and the craziest ideas can be realized. Madness happening on the “Event Horizon”? Yeah why not! Milano – Guardians of the Galaxy
The Milano is probably the newest ship on our list. Overall, this is probably one of the newest ships in science fiction. It is the ship of Peter Quill, aka Star Lord, from the August film Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition to a very nice appearance, the ship has a cassette sound system from the 1980s that plays a music collection.
Millennium Falcon – Star Wars
The ship may not look too good, but it is very efficient. It passed Kessel in less than twelve parsecs. Walk into a room with ten people and ask them what kind of spaceship they would like to have. Delorean – Back To the Future
Emmett Brown’s DeLorean is certainly the most iconic of all sci-fi vehicles, but not necessarily the most stylish: The sleek sports car design by Italian industrial designer Giorgio Giugiaro was very popular in the 80s – but the 80s weren’t exactly a heyday in terms of things car design!

The Nautilus – 20,000 Leagues under the Sea
Alligators and sharks for the model inspired harper Goff. The upper portholes resemble crocodile eyes and are the first to emerge from the water. The riveted, rough surface is said to be reminiscent of alligators. Tail fin and streamlined shape are similar to a shark. There is also a massive ram at the tip of the Nautilus.
Taxi – The Fifth Element
It can fly. It’s somewhere between a retro bucket and a bumper car, but hey: We would definitely get in!
Spiner-Blade Runner
It can fly, whiz. In addition to “Blade Runner”, Syd Mead also worked as a design artist on other classics such as “Aliens – The Return” or “Tron”. Combustion engines, jet nozzles and an anti-gravity unit power the Spinner Cars.
Nebuchadnezzar – Matrix
It moves within “reality” using self-generated magnetic fields, using conventional kinetic weapons as well as EMP weapons. The “Neb” was built from what was still available after the war against the machines: wreckage and scrap. The design looks amazingly fish-like – an impression that is reinforced by the floating nature of the locomotion.

Lexus 2054 – Minority Report
It has fuel cell propulsion, biometric security system and crash proof, autopilot. In addition to the car, a fully automated factory was also designed for the film “Minority Report”, in which the cars are manufactured using a 3D printer. Audi RSQ – I, Robot
